Civil Defence co-ordination centres and their posts
Throughout the city there are a number of sites chosen as Civil Defence Posts. These are generally state primary schools and are simply community self-help centres.

Civil Defence posts and co-ordination centres
To extend civil defence co-ordination into the community there are also a number of ward co-ordination centres, based in the electoral wards of the City.
Civil Defence Posts are signposted to act as a reminder to people of their emergency function.
