Open hours and facilities at the Garden

While the Botanic Garden itself is open from dawn to dusk every day of the year, some of the buildings have set hours.

Admission to all areas of the Botanic Garden is free.

The Information Centre and Shop

Lower Garden toilets - under the Alpine House.

Upper Garden toilets - in the carpark

The Botanic Garden Centre is a hall available for hire by horticultural or conservation groups. It can be divided into two by a sliding door.

The Centre is in Upper Lovelock Avenue and has a kitchenette for tea and coffee making.

Hourly rates up to four hours - $20.00

Hourly rates after four hours - $13.00

The first four hours of hire are always charged at the higher rate.
