Terms and conditions of entry to the Dunedin Chinese Garden
Entry to the Dunedin Chinese Garden is subject to the following conditions. These condtitions can be found in full on the back of your entry ticket.
You consent to, and will permit, the search and inspection of your person, clothing, bags or other possessions by any official, employee or agent of the proprietor both before and after your entry to the Garden.
You may not take any of the following articles into the Garden:
- Banners, placards, flags or poles for displaying the same or material for construction or assembly of such articles
- Any article which is likely to injure or annoy other persons, including chemical substances which give off noxious fumes or smoke, glass bottles, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, weapons, loud hailers.
- Goods intended for sale (if you do not have written permission from the proprietor)
- Any article which may hamper or impede the conduct of the event
- Engage in conduct which unreasonably interferes with other patrons' enjoyment, including fighting
- Hamper or impede the conduct of the event
- Breach any bylaws or orders applicable
Your entry ticket is void if on-sold or traded at a premium or in conjunction with other goods or services, or used in advertising or as a competition prize, without prior written permission from the proprietor.
If you do not comply with a request to leave or stay away from the Garden, you may be liable to arrest and prosecutionfor trespass. This may incur a fine of up to $1,000 or a prison term of up to three months.
Any information you provide when you purchase a ticket maybe retained and used by the proprietor orany other party authorised by the proprietor. You have the right to access and correct any information held about you.
