Location of the Chinese Garden
How accessible is the Garden?
The Garden is of authentic Chinese design, and therefore, only about 80% of the Garden can be accessed by those with disabilities. The Hilltop and some bridges will not be accessible without assistance. Entry for everyone will be through the main entrance.
Some buildings within the Garden have a footing panel below the door. These can be removed for greater accessibility.
The teahouse and shop
This operates from the Side Hall and provides a small range of gift items, food and drink. Catering will only be for small numbers at any time during public hours.
Where is the garden located?
The Dunedin Chinese Garden is located on the corner of Rattray and Cumberland Streets.
