Moana Gym
With plasma TV's, Sky Sport and rocking music, Moana Gym has something for everyone to ensure your workout is exciting and effective.
Moana Gym comes complete with qualified Gym Instructors walking the floor to ensure you are exercising correctly and enjoying your workout. They are here to assist you, so feel free to ask them for help at anytime.
Circuit
The circuit consists of 27 stations combining cardio and resistance training equipment. Covering all major muscle groups, this 30-minute workout runs off a timer and light system that operates throughout the opening hours of the gym.
Cardio
Treadmills, cross trainers, rowers, upright bikes, recumbent bikes and spinning bikes all make up the cardio area.
Free Weights
Olympic benches, Smith Machine, Leg Press, Squat Rack, Adjustable Cable machines, dumbbells and barbells offer a wide variety of choice for any gym enthusiast.
Stretch Area
Swiss balls, medicine balls and stretch mats all combine to complete this area of the gym.

Spinning
'The Spinning program is the original and most popular group cycling class in the world... With no complicated movements to learn top-notch instructors and music that begs your legs to pedal, Spinning classes are as fun as they are effective.'

Classes are approximately 45 minutes in length. This includes a warm up, cool down and stretch.
Core Movements
Seated Flat
This basic movement builds strength and stamina.
Seated Climb
Seated climbs tone and strengthen the gluteals and hamstrings.
Standing Flat (Running)
This out of the saddle movement uses light to moderate resistance to develop core strength, build endurance and increase leg speed.
Standing Climb
The high resistance used in this movement strengthens and defines the legs.
Jumps
Jumps develop the ability to transition in and out of the saddle with smooth, controlled movements, which builds strength, hones reaction and improves balance.
Aqua Fitness
A water workout with a difference our 45-minute shallow water and deep-water aqua aerobics classes are based on two properties: supporting the body by providing buoyancy and resistance.
Our 3 classes offer something for all fitness abilities.
Aqua Moves
Designed for the more mature client (60+) these classes aim to increase general mobility and flexibility as well as cardiovascular fitness. (A discounted price is offered to those who attend this class).
Aqua Fit
This workout enhances co-ordination, cardiovascular fitness, general fitness and muscle toning. This class is ideal for beginners through to the advanced.
Aqua Sport
A deep-water class held in the dive lap pool with aqua belts on. Aqua Sport is a great cross training alternative using a variety of methods from interval training to circuits. This class is suitable for the first time aqua joggers through to our more regular clientele.
