Swimsation swim school information

We introduced Swimsation Moana Pool in 2003 as a swim school franchise focussing on a simplistic, positive, fun learning experience for all students.

About us

Swimsation Moana Pool caters for all levels of swimmer from our specialised babies' programme, to pre-schoolers, school age, squad swimmers, adults and swimmers with a physical and/or intellectual impairment. The Swimsation curriculum allows all swimmers to learn in a safe, comfortable environment under the tutelage of our professional, friendly staff.

All Swimsation staff are trained through Swimming New Zealand and are always learning new skills and teaching techniques via our Swimsation training system.

Since 2003, Swimsation Moana Pool has been recognised achieved the following awards:

  • NZ Swim Coaches and Teachers Association Instructor of the Year 2005
  • Swimsation 2006 Franchise Awards - High Performance Award
  • 2006/2007 Swimsation Franchise Instructor of the Year - Lynley Harrison
  • 2007/2008 Swimsation Franchise Swim School of the Year
  • 2008/2009 Swimsation Franchise National Instructor of the Year Helen Cottle

Term dates 2010

  • Term 1 - Monday February 1 to Thursday April 1 (inclusive)
  • Term 2 - Monday April 19 to Saturday July 3 (inclusive)
  • Term 3 - Monday July 19 to Saturday September 25 (inclusive)
  • Term 4 - Monday October 11 to Saturday December 18 (inclusive)
