Biodiversity Funding

The Dunedin Biodiversity Fund was established in August 2007. The purpose of this fund is to maintain a network of viable habitats and ecosystems in Dunedin by encouraging and supporting landowners who are committed to protecting, enhancing and managing indigenous biodiversity.

Projects that have received funding include planting, fencing and weed and pest control. Funding is allocated over two rounds in April and September, with $30,000 available in each round.
