Building Control - about us
The Building Control Unit of the Dunedin City Council administer the process that is designed to ensure your building project meets all criteria under the Building Act 2004.
We will issue your building consent when we are satisfied that your planned work will meet all provisions of the Building Code. All fees and charges must be paid. Your building consent will include a list of inspection requirements.
