Community development and support
The Community Development team provides advice to the DCC on community, recreation, arts and environment issues. We also administer a range of community funding schemes and work in partnership with other agencies on projects that promote community development.
We provide free advice, support, resources and workshops for non-profit groups on project development, management issues, planning and funding.
We are also involved in community projects such as Keep Dunedin Beautiful and Task Force Green.
The Community Advisors can provide planning advice to community groups (other than recreation or arts). They also promote community development, issues and activities and oversee the administration of:
