The Solid Waste Team works in many areas of waste minimisation and with many sectors of the community. We welcome your sustainable practices and your actions to make a clean, healthy city moving always closer to being a sustainable city. The team includes the:
- Solid waste manager
- Contract supervisor
- Waste strategy officer
- Education and promotion officer
- Assistant regional co-ordinator Enviroschools
What do we do?
We deal with matters relating to:
- Solid waste reduction
- Residual solid waste disposal
- Solid waste collection and transport
- Special waste
- Trade waste
- Stormwater
