Transfer Station hours

Location: 140 Edinburgh Street, Waikouaiti.  Ph: 465 7481

Summer Hours

Summer hours (daylight savings) extend from the last Sunday in September to the first Sunday in April.

  • Wednesdays 12 noon - 6.00pm
  • Saturdays and Sundays 10:00am - 6:00pm

Winter hours

  • Wednesdays 12 noon - 4.00pm
  • Saturdays and Sundays 10:00am - 4:00pm

Closed

  • Christmas Day
  • Easter Friday
  • Anzac Day 12.00pm - 4.00pm if on a Wednesday or weekend day, otherwise closed if on any other day

Acceptable waste at Waikouaiti Landfill

Including general waste, the following items (can be taken to Waikouaiti Transfer Station and Landfill for recycling or disposal.
