Warrington wastewater treatment plant

Warrington’s wastewater is reticulated to a pump station in the Warrington reserve. It is then pumped to a single stage oxidation pond. The wastewater is pumped to the disposal area where it is sprayed onto a designated area on the sand spit reserve.

The land disposal area is a series of pipelines with common lawn sprays attached. They are laid among existing vegetation on the Warrington Spit Reserve. There are 16 sprays lines with 9 lawn sprays attached to each line.
