i-SITE Visitor Centre - About us
The i-SITE Dunedin Visitor Centre is open 365 days a year. We provide extensive local and national information as well as a booking service for our visitors and residents.
Funded by the Dunedin City Council, we are the official information service providers for Dunedin. We are members of the i-SITE Visitor Information Network of New Zealand (VIN Inc).
What services do we offer?
We want to help you make the most of the time you spend here. We provide knowledgeable and impartial information on a complete range of attractions, accommodation, sightseeing and transport options available.
We have a comprehensive database of accommodation, transportation, attractions and services for Dunedin and coastal Otago.
We also have comprehensive information on the Southern South Island region including:
- Clutha District
- The Catlins
- Stewart Island
- Te Anau
- Milford Sound
- Fiordland National Park
- Maniototo
- Strath Taieri
- Oamaru and the Waitaki
- Central Otago
- Queenstown
- Southland
Before you arrive
We can send you information and brochures and answer any queries you have. We try to respond within 48 hours.
You can make bookings prior to arrival
We can book your accommodation, travel, activities and tours for Dunedin and anywhere else in New Zealand. You can make bookings prior to your arrival to Dunedin. This is particularly useful if you have several bookings to make or require accommodation during a peak period.
We DO NOT add booking fees. We accept Visa and MasterCard payments for bookings. We ask that you do not email your credit card details, as this can be unsafe.
When you arrive in Dunedin
When you arrive in Dunedin, visit us first and we will arrange all your accommodation, tour and sightseeing bookings in Dunedin and coastal Otago for no extra charge. The i-SITE Visitor Centre has all the convenience of a one-stop shop.
