The Dunedin Chinese Garden

A stunning example of a late Ming, early Ching Dynasty Scholar's Garden, built using authentic Chinese materials crafted by a team of artisans and craftsmen from Dunedin's sister city of Shanghai. One of only three in the world outside China.
Larnach Castle Garden

Margaret Barker's inspired plantings over 42 years within the original framework of paths, hedges and trees of historic Larnach Castle. This is an NZGT Garden of National Significance. South Seas Garden. Accommodation. Cafe. A castle visit is available for an extra cost.
Glenfaloch Garden

This is a beautiful historic woodland garden begun in 1871, situated in a hidden valley. It has large established trees under-planted with rhododendrons and an array of woodland plants. Another NZGT Garden of National Significance.
