- After lunch at Blueskin Bay Nursery on the way back to town, drive through Waitati and over the hill to Port Chalmers and try a rock climb in the Port Chalmers Quarry.
- After all your exertions, take an easy drive back to town and dine at one of Dunedin's cafes and restaurants.
Day Two
- Take a dive tour of the area, and see some spectacular local spots.
- Visit one of the many cafes in the city centre for lunch and head up to Swampy Summit for a strenuous afternoon of mountain biking.
- When you have recovered with some local ale and a great burger, meet your Hair Raiser tour. This will take you around some of Dunedin's spooky spots, leaving you jumping at shadows for the rest of your stay!
Day Three
- Experience a three-hour guided sea kayak tour of the Otago Peninsula, and then meet your mountain bike tour guide at Portobello and visit the places you saw from the water.
- When you return to town, dine out in style and wend your way to one of the elegant wine bars and cocktail lounges for a decadent end to your day.
Day Four
- Check out some of Dunedin's mountain biking trails. There are rides from an hour to all day. You can bike from town, or get dropped off at the start of the rough stuff.
Weekend
- Take the weekend off and go horse trekking to Whareakeake Beach. After your overnight stay, you will return by a different route, leaving you plenty of time to explore Port Chalmers and the western arm of the Otago Harbour.
