Day One
- After breakfast at one of many central city cafes with local art adorning the walls, start at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery. There are many other art galleries in the CBD, including Gallery de Novo, the Milford Galleries and the Temple Gallery.
- When you have had your fill of art, why not try jewellery. Dunedin boasts a 'Jewellery Quarter' where you can see unique handmade jewellery and often meet the artist who made it.
- Dunedin's renowned Fine Arts School has produced some amazing fashion designers. Many of these still have stores in the city. A little quiet browsing may see you with a gorgeous new outfit to take you into the wee hours of the morning.
- With many theatres and live music venues in and around the city, there will be something playing to suit your taste. You can dance the night away or watch world-class performances.
Day Two
- Take a Passion for Fashion Tour. These can be tailored to suit your group's particular interests over one or two days.
Day Three
- Arrange to view the Hocken Library's Maori collections. Also, the Southern Land, Southern People exhibit at the Otago Museum will give you a concise visual introduction to Otago's early history.
- Visit the caves at the end of Portsmouth Drive, where Maori prisoners were held. From here, you can drive out along the Peninsula to visit Taiaroa Heads, originally the site of the Pukekura Pa.
Day Four
- Meet the Double Decker bus at the i-Site Visitor Centre for a trip around some of Dunedin's finest heritage locations. Include a tour of Olveston to experience the lifestyle of an affluent early 20th century family.
- After lunch in Roslyn, perhaps sampling a fine wine, drive out to Port Chalmers for another range of local artists' work.
