How are we doing?
In 2006, 59% of New Zealanders said they felt a sense of community. This proportion was 55% for the 12 largest cities, and 65% for the rest of New Zealand outside these cities.
Rodney rated the highest at 73%. Dunedin was around the middle and similar to Wellington. The lowest scores were found in Waitakere and Hamilton (both 50%).
