How are we doing?

The percentage of residents who feel a sense of pride in the way Dunedin looks and feels has declined from 82% to 72% since 2002. However, Dunedin scored relatively well in comparison with the 12 largest cities in New Zealand.

For the whole of New Zealand 61% of people felt a sense of pride compared with 58% for the 12 largest cities. The highest scoring city was Wellington (82%) and the lowest was Manukau (39%).
