How are we doing?
The Quality of Life Report 2007 defines an 'economically significant business enterprise' as a business that is GST registered with a turnover of $30,000 per year or more.
From 2002 to 2006, the average growth rate for economically significant businesses for New Zealand was 26.3%. For Dunedin it was 18.8%. The highest growth rate was in Rodney (40.3%) and the lowest in Porirua (11.4%).
