City Forests Limited harvests and markets the products from the 16,100 hectares of forests it owns. Products are sold in both the export and domestic markets.
The company once again increased its revenue in an extremely challenging economic climate. This was achieved primarily in the export market as domestic sales declined over the year. City Forests continues to place the majority of its higher value pruned logs into its own processing plant, and it is well poised to take advantage of the inevitable improvement in global and New Zealand demand.
