Highlight of the year included completion of the Dunedin northern suburbs' water scheme. various sewerage schemes, signing a ten year partnership agreement for estate management at Jacks Point near Queenstown, earning NZ's first silver medal Enviro-Mark certification for its work at Green Island Landfill and beginning the installation of an open fibre optic network in Dunedin and Queenstown.
