Taieri Gorge Railway Ltd
Taieri Gorge Railway (TGR) operates a daily tourist train on the Taieri River Gorge railway line and 'The Seasider' service on the Karitane coast line.
TGR is rated as one of the world's best train journeys, and it remains the key attraction for visiting cruise ships. Despite the downturn in touris numbers visiting NZ, there was only a slight decrease in passenger numbers. TGR renovated its historic railway station office during the year and continues to invest wisely in rolling stock and track maintenance.
