A kick start for iD

The DCC has funded and supported iD Dunedin Fashion Week since it began 11 years ago and this year has increased its funding to $105,000, making the Council a key sponsor of this event.

The funding includes $5,000 sponsorship of the second place winner in the prestigious iD Dunedin Emerging Designers Awards. This year, the awards attracted more than 120 entries from around the world, which have been narrowed to 31 finalists, including seven from the Otago Polytechnic, in two categories - jewellery and fashion.
