About this track

From the Portobello side, the Hereweka Track climbs up through farmland with fences on both sides. Once over the saddle, the track transitions into beautiful native bush. The track ends at a gravel road that leads down to Hooper’s inlet.

Getting there

The Hereweka Track starts at the end of Hereweka Street with parking on the road side.
