City Talk Replacement – Quickfire Survey
This survey provided guidance to the Dunedin City Council (DCC) on the replacement for City Talk. The key findings from the survey included:
- Panellists were interested in receiving information on city events, infrastructure type stories, topical feature stories and topical messages from the Mayor and Chief Executive.
- Most Panellists (68%) wanted to receive DCC information monthly.
- There was no clear favourite method of DCC information delivery, and a combination of deliveries was favoured. There were a number of comments requesting an online version of DCC information as well as a hard copy version.
The People’s Panel findings will contribute to the development of the replacement for City Talk. It is encouraging to note that the responses received reflected much of the development already underway and that many of the concerns raised had already been considered and addressed. The DCC also welcomes any feedback on the newsletter when the first issue is published.
