This application form is for Te Ao Tūroa Grants 2018/19.

Important Information About Applying For A Grant

  • Please complete one application form for each project and attach ALL supporting documents to this form.

  • If you have received a DCC grant before and have not completed the Report Back Form for it, you will not be able to apply for another grant from us. Please complete the Grants Report Back Form

    We can only fund activities that happen between 1 June 2019 and 30 July 2020.
    Tell us the addresses and postcodes where your activity will take place. Some projects may be city-wide. To be eligible, a project must take place within the boundaries of Dunedin City.
    Explain how your project meets the Te Ao Tūroa Grants 2018/19 criteria (please ensure you have read the criteria - Te Ao Tūroa Grants), and how the funding will be used to make it happen? (max 250 words)

    a) Taking a city-wide approach to protecting and enhancing Dunedin’s natural environment. This can include trials or pilots of something that could then be city-wide.

    b) Creating or using partnerships with stakeholders and communities (e.g. iwi, scientists, councils, business and other community groups) (Please note: letters of support from partners will be requested).

    c) Demonstrating an innovative approach for work to support the natural world.

    Please explain how the Te Ao Tūroa Grants 2018/19 will be acknowledged.

    Please attach letters of support from individuals and local, regional or national organisations. It is useful to send evidence of the success of previous work such as programme evaluations. You can attach these in the last section of this form.

    1. We will send Dunedin City Council an Expenditure Return within one year of receiving our grant, or within three months of completing the project, whichever comes first. We will send evidence of how we spent our grant on the project.
    2. We have read and will follow the rules and regulations in the Dunedin City Council Grants Policy 2015.
    3. The Dunedin City Council does not have to issue a tax invoice for our grant.
    4. We will take part in an audit of our organisation's finances if the Dunedin City Council asks us to.
    5. The Dunedin City Council can keep a copy of our application for audit use.
    6. I have the right to access this funding application and associated information. This consent is given in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993.
    7. Dunedin City Council may include news of our grant in its marketing communications.
