Application description

Resource consent is sought to establish a 25 apartment development over four stories. The development will contain 15 one-bedroom units and 10 two-bedroom units. Ten car parks and storage facilities will be provided on the ground level, with vehicle access from Filleul Street.

The proposal will breach the height provisions relative to existing ground level. Approximately 150m3 of earthworks will be required. The site is zoned Central Activity in the Dunedin City District Plan. The proposal is assessed as a non-complying activity under the Dunedin City District Plan. The Proposed Second Generation District Plan (“2GP”) was notified on 26 September 2015.  The rules of the 2GP are not in effect
