| Application description | The applicant seeks to remove 26 trees within a significant tree group on Camp Road and to prune remaining trees to remove broken or hanging limbs. The tree group is listed as G028 in the operative and proposed Dunedin City District Plans. The removal or pruning of a scheduled significant tree is a discretionary (unrestricted) activity under the operative District Plan. The tree rules in the Proposed Second Generation District Plan are not yet operative. The application indicates that tree group G028 comprises 3 distinct tree groupings and the application seeks to remove Groups 1 and 2 (26 trees in total).
