Application description	Resource consent is sought to remove the Silver Beech/ Tawhai Tree (Nothofagus menziesii) which is listed in Schedule 25.3 as T790 in the Operative Dunedin City District Plan. The schedule lists the tree as being located within Lot 6 DEEDS 25 but a survey has identified the trunk of the tree to be located wholly within the adjoining road reserve. The removal of a scheduled tree is assessed as an unrestricted discretionary activity under the Operative Dunedin City District Plan. The Proposed 2GP was notified on 26 September 2015, and some 2GP rules have immediate legal effect. In this instance, there are no relevant 2GP rules to consider.
