I have a long family association with the Otago Peninsula, living locally at Otakou and working as the Ecotourism Manager for the Otago Peninsula Trust, responsible for the Royal Albatross Centre.
I’m married, with three daughters, and am an active member of the Otago Peninsula Community. I have been on the Otago Peninsula Community Board since 2010.
I am an ecologist and conservationist with many years of experience supporting the community to achieve successful environmental outcomes. I am active locally as the Chair of the Otago Peninsula Biodiversity Trust, founding trustee for the Wild Dunedin Festival and Predator Free Dunedin.
I recognize that the Peninsula contributes significantly to Dunedin’s economy and long-term financial viability. I enjoy contributing to our local community wellbeing, providing for the maintenance of community infrastructure, and ensuring that long term strategy blends environmental sustainability whilst ensuring that economic benefits are realized.
