Dunedin City Council has introduced Procurement Emissions Standards that will be embedded into the evaluation of tenders through our procurement processes and the resulting contracts.
We are making changes to the way we evaluate tender responses with the aim of reducing emissions through our contracts. The changes we have made will ensure what we procure, and how we evaluate tenders, aligns with Dunedin’s Zero Carbon targets.
To help you understand these changes we have developed a guidance document. Suppliers who are interested in responding to a Dunedin City Council tender are encouraged to read this guidance document.
