Profile
I’ve lived and breathed construction my entire life as part of the Lund construction family, starting as a quantity surveying cadet with the Ministry of Works in 1982, and including 5 years in the US, in the 1990s where I was a cost engineer on major projects for Boeing, Nike, and the US Military. I arrived in Dunedin in 1994 to build the Art Gallery in the Octagon. Since then, my companies have built over 400 projects in Dunedin, including my own Thomas Gregg & Loan and Mercantile buildings.
Outside council, I currently devote my expertise and financial resources to delivering social housing, partnering with the Salvation Army.
My bottom line is to make Dunedin a liveable, affordable, flood free! and successful heritage city for all residents. Many Dunedinites are struggling with massive, continuing rates rises far in excess of inflation, and previous Councils have ignored this. I will not.
