The Council may grant a discretionary consent, being an exemption to clause 5 (restrictions on freedom camping) of the Dunedin City Camping Control Bylaw 2015 upon written application. Consent may be granted in specific cases, where the Council considers that granting of that consent would not be contrary to the purpose of the bylaw.
