The pool was opened in 1961 and was roofed and reopened in 1982. This work was made possible through community and local funding.
The pool and lifeguards are available for hire for private functions. A good picnic area is also available for you to use.

Identification and concession rate
If you have a current Community Services card, Tertiary Student ID or a current Super Gold card you are entitled to the concession rate. The card must be shown at reception in order to get the discounted rate.
If you need a person in the pool with you because of a disability, entry for the support person is free (the swimmer pays their usual rate).

**Family - Family is either 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 4 children.
