Volume One contains the policy and rules of the Dunedin City District Plan. These are freely downloadable in PDF format.

Status of Dunedin City District Plan (2006)

As of 19 August 2024, the proposed Dunedin City Second Generation District Plan (2GP) was made partially operative except for specific provisions and identified areas still subject to appeal. For provisions and areas still subject to appeal, the Dunedin City District Plan 2006 must also be considered.

Hardcopies of the Plan are available for viewing at Dunedin City Council service centres or at public libraries.

Volume One can be downloaded as entire sections, or the issues, objectives, policies and methods can be downloaded as one PDF with rules available as a separate PDF.  Appendices can also be downloaded separately.
