Adoption of Plan Change 13: Hazardous Substances

Pursuant to Clause 20(2) of the First Schedule to the Resource Management Act 1991, the Dunedin City Council gives notice that it has approved Plan Change 13: Hazardous Substances to the Dunedin City District Plan. Plan Change 13 will be operative with effect from Monday 2 September 2013.

Plan Change 13: Hazardous Substances updates the current District Plan section with revised quantities and locations of where hazardous substances can be stored or used. A number of consequential amendments have also been made to other District Plan sections.

The Plan Change amends sections 3, 10 and 17 in Volume 1 of the District Plan.

The District Plan as amended by Plan Change 13 will be available for inspection from Monday 2 September 2013 onwards at:

  • Planning Enquiries, Ground Floor, Civic Centre, 50 The Octagon, Dunedin;
  • The Public Libraries at Dunedin, Mosgiel, Port Chalmers, Blueskin Bay (Waitati) and Waikouaiti;
  • www.dunedin.govt.nz/districtplan
