Terina Geddes (Chair)

Terina is a long-standing advocate for rural communities and was elected to the Strath Taieri Community Board in 2023 to ensure local voices are heard and practical, community-focused solutions are prioritized. She has lived and worked in rural New Zealand her entire adult life, with more than 25 years in agriculture and deep involvement in local organizations.

Alongside operating a sheep farm with her husband, Terina holds a Bachelor of Agribusiness and has professional experience in laboratory management, customer liaison, and team leadership. She has also served her community in roles including Plunket treasurer, PTA chair, local library president, and community event organizer.

Terina is passionate about rural resilience, strong community services, and giving rural people a clear and capable voice.
