Locally-born with Filipino and Pākehā descent, I’m privileged to have grown up here in Mosgiel. My childhood included attending Silverstream Primary School, East Taieri Church, using the local facilities (playground, library and pool), participating in various local sports and summer outings to the Outram Glen. I want the next generation of youth to have what they need to thrive. I’m also committed to advocating for greater accessibility for our disabled and elderly communities.
We have a diverse population here in the Mosgiel-Taieri area, across urban and rural communities. I’m committed to listening to the broad range of views represented in Mosgiel and determined to advocate for the needs of our community to the council.
I value the importance of collaboration, empathy and learning. I also recognise the necessity in honouring Te Tiriti.
