Vianney Santagati

I have lived in Ocean View for 40 years and love the area. My children went to Ocean View and Fairfield Schools. In the past I have been on the Brighton Plunket Committee and the Ocean View School Board. At present I am on the Brighton and Ocean View Hall Committee, The Brighton Trapping Project and a member of the South Coast Neighbourhood Society which opposes the proposed Brighton Landfill. I will support any new opportunities to oppose the landfill.

I enjoy collaborating with communities and with the help of others have finished the Ocean View Community Mosaic Wall, which won the Keep Dunedin Beautiful Pod Award, and am halfway through the Waldronville Community Mosaic Wall. I want to collaborate with communities in the Saddle Hill Board area so we can all grow, thrive and mitigate the ecological challenges we face, such as erosion, flooding and landfills.
