Motorcycles can also be parked in the designated motorcycle parking spaces on the first floor of the Dunedin City Council (DCC) Great King Street car park building for free. No other DCC-owned car park buildings offer designated motorcycle parking.

Parking your motorcycle in a car parking space

If you park your motorcycle in a car parking space, you:

Must pay for time parked in a Pay By Plate metered parking space (on and off-street).
Must observe all time limits if you park in a time-restricted space such as a P5 (5 minute parking).

Motorcycles parked in Pay By Plate metered parking spaces without payment, parked in time-restricted parking spaces over the allowed time, or parked illegally may result in a parking infringement.
