Over the months of August and September of 2012 a consultation process was undertaken to secure feedback on the draft DCC Social Wellbeing Strategy.
This page contains the documents that highlight the consultation undertaken for the Social Wellbeing Strategy and summarises what we heard you say.
Submissions to the Social Wellbeing Strategy closed on Friday 21 September.
100 formal submissions were received along with 12 postcards being sent in.
The strategy team are currently analysing the results of the submissions and the data collected at the 19 community meetings, 7 geographical meetings and the 4 planned randoms.
The Peoples Panel survey generated 366 responses with 90% agreeing that the DCC has role in Social Wellbeing.
There will be a public feedback session held before the end of the year and it is anticipated that the strategy will be put to the first Community Development meeting in 2013 for final approval.
Details of submissions received are available in the related information section
