Signal Hill mountain bike tracks

Fairfield Reserve
There are reports of hanging branches from trees. Please refrain from using both the reserve and playground (including skate facilities) until our contractors have been able to inspect the trees for damage and undertake any required maintenance work.
Cameron Park
Closed until further notice due the extensive storm damage.
Ross Creek/Kanuka track (between Tanner Road and Rockside Road)
Closed until further notice due the extensive storm damage.
Woodhaugh Gardens
Closed until further notice due the extensive storm damage.
Fern Tree Reserve
Closed until further notice due the extensive storm damage.
Braidwood Track
Closed until further notice due to substantial damage sustained in weather event 3 - 5 October 2024.
Smaills Beach access
Closed until further notice due to substantial damage sustained in weather event 3 - 5 October 2024.
Taylors Beach (Ocean View) beach access track
Damaged beyond repair and will remain closed. Another suitable access track is available to the public starting at the same location on Brighton Road.
Tomahawk Reserve beach access track
The lower beach access track has been severely damaged due to wash outs and remains closed. An alternative access track is available a few meters further up towards the top car park.
Tunnel Beach track (DOC track) and car park
The car park is maintained by Dunedin City Council (DCC) and will be closed until further notice due to substantial damage caused by slips on the Tunnel Beach Track.
Cleghorn Street track
Restricted access. Users need to be aware this track crosses private land where stock is present.
