Format of decisions

The Hearings Panel has recorded its decisions, and the reasoning, in 29 decision reports (one report per hearing topic). Their decision reasons incorporate the requirements of a further evaluation under s32AA of the RMA. At the end of each report is a table summarising all the decisions on provisions related to that decision report. The decision reports refer to Appendix 1, the marked-up version of the notified 2GP (2015), which shows all changes made as a result of the decisions.

The marked-up version shows changes with ~~strike-through~~ and underline formatting and includes related submission point references for the changes.

Hard copies are also available at the DCC Civic Centre for viewing.

If you would like a printed copy of a decision, please email 2gpappeals@dcc.govt.nz or phone 03 477 4000. Please provide your name, phone number and which decision reports you would like printed. Requests for entire decision reports over 30 pages will generally only be provided by USB or compact disc unless no computer access is available. We will provide the copy within three days of your request.

Who can I ask about a decision?

DCC planners are available in the Customer Services centre (8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, except Wednesday, 9am to 5pm), on the ground floor of the Civic Centre to respond to any enquiries about the decisions. Alternatively, you can speak to staff by calling 03 477 4000.

Summary table of decisions

The summary table lists decisions across all decision topics and is sorted by plan provision. The table notes the related sections of decision and s42A reports. The related s42A report sections will help appellants identify other parties who have submitted on that provision, so they can serve their notice of appeal.
