Profile

I am a Dunedin born and bred councillor elected in the byelection in May 2026 following the tragic loss of Cr Jules Radich. With 30-plus years working in the field of public communications - both journalism and PR - my goals are to boost financial responsibility of the council, and to listen to, and act on,  the concerns and needs of our ratepayers across greater Dunedin.

I am independent and not affiliated or pledged to any political party. My goals are to focus on the basics of council work - eg stormwater infrastructure for South Dunedin; maintaining our roads for cars and vehicles; reduce spending on nice-to-haves such as cycleways (we are already well endowed) and stop demolition by neglect of our heritage buildings, promoting their economic potential instead. And once again lead by example and recreate a city we can be proud of.
