Off-street car parking options

There are covered car park buildings and off-street car parks available across the city, open seven days a week.

All of our car park buildings except for the Dunedin City Library (link to external website, new window) car park building, are fitted with licence plate recognition (LPR) technology so your parking is monitored electronically as you enter and exit the building. The Dunedin City Library car park building uses parking meters and the PayMyPark app for payment.

You can pay for parking using:

  • Paywave, debit or credit card; or
  • PayMyPark App – iOS and Android (Dunedin City Library and off-street car parks only)
