Deep Stream Water Supply Catchment

Deep Stream Water Supply Catchment is a Controlled Catchment under DCC’s Water Supply Bylaw 2026. Approval to enter is required.

If you would like to access Te Papanui Conservation Park on-foot via the established walking track access across the Deep Stream Water Supply Catchment, or you are seeking to do other activities in the catchment, please fill in the application to apply for approval.

Same day approval (with conditions) is granted for walking access to Te Papanui Conservation Park if you agree to stay on the marked track.  For those seeking to do any other activities in the catchment, approval will require DCC staff input and may take up to three working days.

Separate approval is required for each person entering the catchment for either on-foot access across the catchment or seeking to do other activities in the catchment.
