Another Coastal Beach favourite, this 1km trail takes you through coastal scrub before emerging onto the beach. This is a beach for the adventurer.

About this track

The wide-open beach with softer waves than its south facing counterparts. It provides a beautiful open sandy beach featuring large cliffs favoured by rock climbing enthusiasts and a large cave at the northern most end of the beach. Follow the coastal scrub track from the northern carpark on Beach Road.

There are several carparks located along Beach Road to access the beach.

Horse access is best located at Boat Ramp access point on Beach Road as the track is wide enough for vehicles and horses to navigate each other. All other beach tracks are very narrow.

No Bus access to this track - you will need your own car.

Know before you go:

This Beach is a multi-user beach, horses, dogs, walkers and rock climbers can be found here. Please respect the space for all.

Long Beach is home to nesting Blue Penguins and the occasional seal. Please keep your distance from both animals as much as possible and try not to scare them.
