This website is the main publication medium for information about the services and facilities provided by the Dunedin City Council. There is current information about all Council-related activities, including meeting schedules and events.

Site Audience

Our primary audience is the residents and business groups of Dunedin. We have an obligation to ensure these groups in particular are:

• Informed about consultation processes, relevant legislation changes and meeting schedules
• Have an opportunity to participate in the decision-making process.

We recognise that media, education institutions, visitors to our city and people from other government organisations will visit the site, although we have not targeted these groups specifically. This means the information we have presented here may not be applicable to some of these groups.

Site design

This website has been designed to:

• Comply with Government Web Standards
• Meet W3C WAIA guidelines or higher
• Conform to industry best practice for web development.

We carry out regular self-assessments to ensure we maintain these standards.
