Bath Street Pipe Upgrade

In 2025, we finished replacing and upgrading underground pipes along Bath Street, including a watercourse pipe and water, stormwater and sewer pipelines.

The old pipes dated back to the 1800s and were badly deteriorated. The new infrastructure aims to future-proof the area for at least 100 years.

We also took the opportunity to upgrade the surface of the street to make the area more pedestrian-friendly, creating a more welcoming environment for visiting all your favourite Bath Street businesses.

The new-look street was officially opened with a special Beats and Eats event alongside the George Street Market in February 2026.
