Investigation work has been carried out and design is underway to renew our aging 3 Waters infrastructure in the Pine Hill area.
Work on water pipes will improve the area’s drinking water and result in better fire flows, fewer burst pipes and unplanned shutdowns, and improved water pressure. Replacing wastewater pipes will help reduce sewage overflows in heavy rain, as well as reduce the number of breakages or blockages. We will look to remove DCC pipes from private land where ever possible, or look at ways to minimise impact on properties where it is not. Some further investigations may be required as the design continues. A timeline for possible construction is not yet available.
